Surprise in the mail
We have been home just about a month and a half. Can you believe it?!? I checked the mail the other night and there was a big envelope from the Department of Homeland Security, and it was addressed to R!! Inside was a letter from Dubya and R's Certificate of Citizenship!! Even though the letter was signed by George (I'm sure he couldn't have written it on his own), I still got all choked up reading it. I thought I'd post it for you all to read and to see the cute picture that was on her certificate.

Two and a half week Home-iversary!
Yep. Time is FLYING by! We've been home almost three weeks. I can hardly believe it. R has changed so much in the month that I've had here that it doesn't even seem like the same little girl anymore. She is so goofy. I have watched her laugh so hard she almost passed out from just rubbing her bare feet on the carpet. She finds the tiniest things hysterically funny. Such a far cry from the baby I was handed a month ago. I was afraid they gave me a 'serious' baby! She is also making huge strides in the walking department. She hasn't walked yet, but I have been able to get her to stand unassisted a few times. As soon as she realizes what happens she drops to the floor, but it is, nevertheless, progress. The BIGGEST news to report is that she FINALLY slept through the night last night!!! I couldn't have been happier. Let's hope for a repeat tonight.
That's about it for now. I have added some pictures since I have heard through the grapevine that I needed to post more.
