This is the card that she picked out for me when Grandmumsy and Auntie J took her shopping for Mother's Day. She could not be talked into another card because "mommy likes baby blue bird".


This is the gift that she picked out for me ALL BY HERSELF. I love it and I laughed so hard I came very close to passing out. It will now hang proudly in my bedroom.

Party for the Planet

The Zoo was having it's Earth Day celebration early this weekend and, even though it was a cold, grey day, we got our party on.

Clowns

Clowns freak me out. But, recently, The Kid got a clown nose and has been trying desperately to wear it. This was all the longer she managed to get it to stay on.

But she was pleased with the results.

Then she tried to make her lamby blanket hold it. She just looked so sweet in this picture.

This was from our last day of vacation. We went to the mall and they had this kid's exhibit that was set up like a town but everything was kid sized. It was a lot of fun. I have to say, she was the most interested in the auto shop....which makes me a little proud.

This one is for Auntie J.

BIG

In one part of this Science Museum that we went to today, they had a musical garden. There were all kinds of things that made music. Anyway, The Kid was impressing me with her wicked cool dance moves and it kinda reminded me of Tom Hanks in BIG when he plays the giant piano with Robert Loggia....and maybe a little Napoleon Dynamite.
